Welcome!

The Marlborough Police Patrol Officers Association would like to welcome you to our homepage. This website is newly created and information will be added frequently in the upcoming months. Our intention is to help the community understand what we do as an organization and to assist in getting our thoughts to those that have supported us for so long!

Announcements:

  • MPPOA Fundraiser's: We ARE now fundraising for our 2010 event. This is our first and only event that we have solicited for this year! Your donations are vital to our role in helping the community such as youth sports teams, college scholarships, and much much more!

We are hosting a USWF Wrestling show at the Marlborough High School on November 19, 2010.

If you wish to drop off your donation at the police station, there are two lock boxes in the front lobby. There is one labeled as "Marlboro Police Patrolmen." That is ours. You may also give the donation in a sealed envelope (available at the front desk if needed) marked for "Off. Taylor - MPPOA Treasurer" to an officer at the front desk.

NOTE: The other lock box in the front is for the Command Officer's. This is an entirely separate entity! DO NOT drop your donations in this box because we will not receive it!

  • MPPOA Affiliates with the NEPBA: The MPPOA in February 2010 voted to affiliate with the New England Police Benevolent Association to become Local 81. The MPPOA is still an independent Association.

  • National Night Out 2010: This year, Marlborough hosted it's first annual National Night Out (NNO) on August 3, 2010. You can check out the pictures on our Photo Gallery page, accessed by the navigation bar to the left.

The 4th graders of Marlborough participated in a poster contest to promote NNO. They are all now hung up around MPD so individuals taking a tour of the station can see all the entries. Three winners were selected of the entries and are as follows:
    1. Rosie S
    2. Jenna S
    3. Stephanie F

For more information about NNO, please visit their website.
